A decision has been made to delay the aerial spraying in Denton County. The decision is based on the expected wind speed during the anticipated spraying times. For maximum effectiveness and accuracy, winds need to remain below 10mph and consistent.
Winds for this evening are expected to gust above 20mph and remain above the threshold for much of the scheduled spraying time.
As was mentioned in previous releases, should the spraying get delayed due to weather we would resume the following day. At this point we are anticipating beginning the spray operation Friday, August 31 09:00pm to 02:00am and the consecutive day, Saturday, September 1 from 09:00pm to 02:00am.
