Hike and Bike Trail Closure

Hike and Bike Trail Temporary Closure

Beginning Monday February 12th, the Hike and Bike Trail will be closed from Stacee Lane to Lantana Trail as construction crews install a storm drain line from the final phase of Barrington Addition. All work should be completed, and the trail reopened by the end of the week. We apologize for any inconvenience caused as we complete the final subdivision within Lantana for your new neighbors. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fresh Water Supply District Offices at (940) 728-5050.

THE HIKE AND BIKE TRAIL

The Hike and Bike Trail will be temporarily closed from Stacee Lane to Lantana Trail during construction hours only, to facilitate the construction of Lantana’s final subdivision, Barrington Addition Phase C. Heavy construction equipment will be operating immediately adjacent to the trail. Please exercise caution if using the trail during non-construction hours. Trail closure signs will be in place at the Stacee Lane and Lantana Trail trailheads. For your safety do not go around these barricades if they are in place and blocking the trail. The barricades will be moved each day when construction ceases in the area. Construction in the vicinity is anticipated to be completed by the end of January. Thank you for your patience as we near the end of the development process within Lantana. If you have any questions, please call the Lantana District offices at 940-728-5050.
