The location for the May 12, 2012 voting for Lantana residents will be held at Bartonville Town Hall located at 1941 E Jeter Rd. Bartonville, TX 76226. Lantana residents are precinct 4018.

Election Information for Board Positions in the Denton County Fresh Water Supply District # 6 and # 7.
There are three board seats up for election this May in both Denton County Fresh Water Supply District # 6 and # 7.
The three seats up for grabs in District # 6 are now occupied by Ross Ferguson, Adrian Weaver, and Jim VanVickle. In District # 7, John Rausch, Charles Lee, and Alex Teusink’s terms are up this May.
Each district has a five member board that consists of property owners from within that district.
The boards make key decisions regarding district operations, including overseeing utility services, the building and maintaining roads, sidewalks and other infrastructure, issuing bonds, and setting the property tax rate.

Elections are held every two years and the terms are four years in order to allow for continuity.
Election Day is May 12, with early voting starting April 30.
The last day to file for place on ballot is March 5 by 5:00 pm. For further information and filing forms, filing forms can be obtained here.

Candidates for Lantana’s Fresh Water Supply Districts #6 & #7 will gather at an Open House Meet & Greet on Thursday, April 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Lantana Golf Clubhouse.
The informal event will give residents the chance to learn more about each candidate before Election Day.
There will also be some current FWSD board members and staff in attendance to answer any questions residents may have.
There are three board seats up for election in both of Lantana’s Fresh Water Supply Districts, with a total of 12 candidates running between the two districts.
